"Got there eventually, but felt ignored at first"
I had a bit of a hassle with my claim to begin with and felt like I was being ignored for a while, which was really frustrating. I ended up having to complain before anyone properly looked into it. To be fair, once it finally got picked up, they did sort everything out and explained what had gone wrong. It took longer than I’d have liked, but we got there in the end. 4 stars from me.

"Canceling was fine, just slow"
I had to cancel my policy and it did get sorted in the end, but it took a bit longer than I thought it would. The staff were really polite, which I appreciated, but I do wish the whole process had been a little clearer from the start.

"Good help over the phone"
I had to ring up about my pet insurance renewal and the person I got through to was really friendly. They explained everything clear, so it was easy enough to sort out. It did take a bit too long waiting on the phone, which was annoying, but once someone answered it got dealt with quick. Overall I’m happy, just wish the wait time wasn’t so long.

"Great communication from start to finish"
They kept me updated the whole time, which made everything a lot easier and meant I wasn’t left wondering what was going on. The staff were friendly and helpful too, so the whole experience felt straightforward and stress-free.

"Claim took a bit longer than I expected"
They did pay out in the end, so I can’t really complain too much, but it definitely felt like it took ages. I’m sure it was longer than I was expecting, though maybe I just thought it would be quicker. Overall, it got sorted, just not as fast as I’d hoped

I got a policy for my dog and the price was better than a few others I looked at. The cover seems decent for what I’m paying, I can’t really complain. Overall it feels like good value.

I really appreciated that Purely Pets made the exclusions and policy limits clear before I went ahead and paid. It didn’t feel like there was any sneaky small print hiding important details, which was refreshing. It made it much easier to choose the right level of cover for my dog. Overall, straightforward and easy to understand, which is exactly what I was after.

Overall, I was happy that my renewal price was still reasonable. It did go up a little, which was a bit annoying, and of course I’d always prefer it to be lower. But compared to the hassle and cost of switching somewhere else, it was still the better deal, so I decided to stay.

"Does the job, but a little clunky for me"
I was able to log in and pull up my documents without much trouble, so that part worked fine for what I needed. But when I tried to update my details, it took longer than I expected and felt a bit clunky. I just wanted to get in, make the change, and move on, so that was a little frustrating.

I’d been meaning to sort pet cover for a while and finally sat down to do it after putting it off for ages. I had a quick look around, made a cup of tea, came back to it, and the quote process was actually straightforward. The price was clear enough, and I liked being able to tweak a few things before committing. Payment went through with no drama and the documents landed in my email shortly after. I’ve knocked off one star because some of the wording around the extras could’ve been a bit clearer, but overall it was easy enough

"Really easy to figure out"
I liked that the cover details were clear right from the start. I could quickly see what was included and what wasn’t, without having to open loads of tabs or hunt around while my cat was knocking a pen off the table.
Pet insurance can get confusing fast, but this was actually straightforward. It made picking a policy much easier for me, which I appreciated because I’d already had enough decision-making for one Tuesday.

"Helped with my dog’s old issue"
I had to get some pre-existing stuff checked for my dog, and they got through it quickly. Was I a little confused at first?? Yeah, definitely. But overall it felt fair enough and it helped sort things out

"Quick payout when I needed it"
The whole claim process was faster than I expected. I sent in the forms, and the money was in my account just a few days later. It made a stressful situation much easier to deal with, and having the payout arrive quickly was a big practical help. Definitely 5 stars from me.
